First Launch for Qumei

This week Gran Living is launching its first private label collection for Chinese retail chain, Qumei. “It is very gratifying to be here and take part after we have researched, designed and developed this collection” explains Per Gran Hartvigsen, CEO of Gran Living. He continues; “we are building a good foundation for a solid long-term partnership with Qumei and it is our great pleasure to be part of this shop re-opening with them”.

The past week has consisted of sales training with staff and styling of this shop, which is just one of the over 850 shops Qumei has in mainland China. On December 19^th the recently re-opened and re-designed shop will be visited by the chairman of the Qumei franchise chain – followed by more than 100 franchise owners, who will visit the shop on Friday December 22nd to see the new concept.

At the request of Qumei, Gran Living has designed and developed a unique collection of home accessories and small furniture with a distinct Scandinavian look and in original Danish design, which a great selling-point in China at the moment. The collection provided by Gran Living is currently available in this re-designed Beijing shop. But it is the ambition that this will expand as the new concept is rolled out for the entire chain.

Gran Living and AYTM moves to new inspiring premises on Aarhus Harbour

Growth and new initiatives have created a need for larger premises for Gran Living and AYTM, which until October 1st 2015 have been located in Aabyhoej. Especially the launch of our new brand AYTM has caused the need for larger premises.

The need for more room has been vital in our choice of moving to Aarhus Harbour. At the same time, we are thrilled to be surrounded by the creative environment which characterizes Aarhus Harbour.

The new office also makes room for our new inspiring showroom for AYTM.

Gran Living reinforces the responsible agenda

As an important mile stone in our CSR-process we have decided to join the UN Global Compact – and that we are proud of!

UN Global Compact is an international FN-initiative, encouraging businesses worldwide to establish socially and environmentally responsible policies and guidelines based on ten principles within human rights, labour rights, the environment and anti-corruption.

With this decision we want to demonstrate our support for the ten principles in the UN Global Compact and to a greater extend integrate these in our day-to-day work.
